How Dentio books appointments in ALMA

Dentio’s AI receptionist answers your clinic’s calls around the clock and books, reschedules and cancels directly in ALMA. You import clinicians, treatments, booking rules and pre-blocks into Dentio, and from then on the rest runs by itself in ALMA.

    Booking in ALMA

The patient explains which visit they need, and the receptionist looks up available times in ALMA. It suggests a time that follows your clinic’s booking rules, and once the patient confirms, the booking is registered straight away. In the same way, patients can call to reschedule or cancel an existing appointment.

    Questions and follow-up

The receptionist answers all the practical questions that would otherwise fill up the phone line: opening hours, address, parking, how to get there by public transport and what the patient should keep in mind before the visit. You add your treatments and prices and give the receptionist your own instructions, so it answers exactly the way you want. Matters that need staff, such as acute problems or questions about ongoing treatment, are handled according to your instructions and passed on to the right person.

We're open 08–17 on weekdays, closed for lunch 12–13. On Saturdays we only take emergencies.

The clinic is at Kungsgatan 44 in Stockholm, three minutes from Hötorget metro station.

There's no parking of our own, but plenty of bike racks right outside the entrance.

    Identification with BankID

Before Receptionist books, reschedules or cancels an appointment in ALMA, the patient identifies themselves with Swedish BankID. That way your clinic knows it is the right patient calling before anything changes in the appointment book.

You see what happened with every call

Every call is logged and summarised automatically, so you see straight away how many calls were handled, how many became bookings and what they are worth in revenue. You follow cancellations and reschedules, which treatments patients book and how many call outside opening hours – calls that would otherwise have been lost. No one needs to keep statistics by hand.
